ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Growers in the Northwest Missouri region should be prepared to control weeds this year, especially in floodplains. That’s according to the Missouri Extension's Field Specialist in Agronomy Wayne Flanary.
He says that last year's floods brought in unwanted seeds. He also told KXCV/KRNW to use pre- and post-emergence herbicide to maximize effectiveness.
